The Challenge
From 2014 to 2021, SilenceKillsDesign was my freelance company — and the answer to a question every small client asks: why hire four vendors when one person can carry the brand, the site, the marketing, and the media?
Over seven years the studio served more than 70 clients across hundreds of projects, spanning branding, marketing, advertising, software development, and audio/video production. The studio's name still carries my independent work today — it's the byline behind several projects on this site.
What I Did
01 Branding
Small businesses rarely have an identity that matches the quality of their work.
Logos, identity systems, and brand foundations that clients could grow into — the discipline that anchored most engagements.
02 Marketing & Advertising
A brand without reach is a file on a shelf.
Campaigns, content, SEO, and advertising that turned identities into qualified leads.
03 Software & Web Development
Most agencies design it and hand it off; most developers build it and never question the design.
Designed and built as one motion — websites and software carried from concept through deployment.
04 Audio / Video Production
Clients needed media as often as they needed pixels.
Audio and video production in-house — the studio's range meant the whole deliverable, not a referral.
The Outcome
The studio is where the generalist range on this portfolio comes from — brand, code, marketing, and media practiced as one craft, for anyone from a construction company to a SaaS startup.
